ESPA is strongly convinced and largely supports gender equity due to the belief of its overall benefits and obligations toward paediatric (and general) anaesthesiologists, in addition to the delivery of a safe anaesthesia care to children and their surroundings.

The main objective of this statement is to distribute equally the potential individual capabilities in clinical responsibilities, scientific achievements and decision-making abilities and this with no discrimination with respect to age, gender, sexual preference, ethnicity, socioeconomic opportunities, or political and religious background.
