Active member:

• Physicians who have completed an accredited education in the field of anaesthesiology and who work or reside in a European country; or
• Persons to whom exemption from the requirements for active membership described above has been granted by the Executive Board in individual cases, which exemption may be subject to further conditions.

Honorary member:

• Honorary members shall only be persons who have excelled in doing meritorious work in the field of paediatric anaesthesiology. The election for an honorary membership will be recommended by the Executive Board. Honorary members are exempt from payment of the annual contribution.

Joint (dual) member:

• Members of national associations or societies represented in the ACORNS of ESPA. See more details about the rules and standard process in the document ESPA JOINT (DUAL) MEMBERSHIP.
