The International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS) invites researchers from low-, lower-middle-, and upper-middle-income countries to join a 1-hour webinar, Maximize Your Chances: Guidance for the IARS International Outreach Travel Grant, on Thursday, October 16, 9-10 am ET. This session will provide practical guidance for those interested in presenting their research at the 2026 Annual Meeting, presented by IARS and SOCCA, and applying for the IARS International Outreach Travel Grant.

Led by experienced researchers, reviewers and past awardees, the webinar will:

  • Offer step-by-step advice on preparing a clear and compelling abstract,
  • Share insights into what reviewers value in successful travel grant applications, and
  • Highlight strategies to strengthen research proposals and increase competitiveness.
