E-learning has become central to postgraduate medical education due to a high degree of flexibility, broad resource-sharing capacity and cost effectiveness. Based on high quality congress video material from the European Society for Paediatric Anaesthesiology, peer reviewed articles, case scenarios and multiple-choice questionnaires, we have established a paediatric anaesthesia e-learning platform. A possible way to target the future education of anaesthesiologists and their teams in order to implement a strategy for quality improvement in paediatric anaesthesia.

Four modules have been published so far:

• Adverse respiratory events
• Neurotoxicity
• Perioperative fluid challenges
