Dear colleagues,

Thank You for an Inspiring Annual Congress in Berlin Dear colleagues and friends, As we close this year’s congress, I am filled with gratitude for the depth, passion, and energy that each of you brought to our meeting. The past few days have been a remarkable exchange of ideas—where science met dialogue, and collaboration met curiosity.

Before continuing, a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors for their support and for fostering so many engaging conversations at their booths.

This year, our discussions reached far beyond the realm of pure medicine. We explored politics, public health, and the broader social forces that shape science and care. Together, we reflected on value-based thinking and the courage to look beyond our own horizons.

What inspires me most is the shared sense of possibility that filled our sessions. We witnessed new ideas, new incentives, and new ways to drive change. But as I said during the closing ceremony, progress does not come from agreement alone—it comes from honest dialogue, from challenge, and from the willingness to face our own blind spots.

So I encourage you all: keep offering your comments, your questions, and your critiques. That is how we grow—together.

Let us leave this congress not only with new insights but also with momentum. Let us carry forward the spirit of curiosity, courage, and collaboration that has defined these days.

Thank you for your commitment, your ideas, and your energy.

Last but not least, our deepest appreciation to our long-time partners from Guarant: Lucie, Jakub, Tereza, Nicola, Alena, and Denisa from Association House. Their tireless dedication and professionalism made this congress what it is today—despite every obstacle along the way.

We look forward to seeing you again—next year in Madrid!

On behalf of the ESPA Executive board,
Warm regards,
