Dear ESPA colleagues,

We are very pleased to share this Difficult Airway Society (DAS), Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (APAGBI), Society of Paediatric Anaesthesia in New Zealand and Australia (SPANZA) and Canadian Pediatric Anesthesia Society (CPAS) supported survey. This Airway Topicalisation in Paediatrics (ATiP) survey looks at the use of topical lignocaine in paediatric anaesthesia. It has been designed by an international authorship of Dr Helen Aoife Iliff (Cardiff, UK), Dr Alistair Baxter (Edinburgh, UK), Dr Abhijoy Chakladar (Brighton, UK), Dr Yasmin Endlich (Adelaide, Australia), Dr Barry McGuire (Dundee, UK) and Dr James Peyton (Boston, USA).
