This conference is designed for the anesthesiologist, certified registered nurse anesthetist, and other medical professionals who takes care of pediatric patients in the perioperative setting. This course provides a comprehensive, up-to-date and current research review of the most important changes and advances relevant to the practice of pediatric anesthesia and critical care. The program includes a variety of evidence based lectures with question and answer sessions, hands-on workshops in difficult airway management, regional anesthesia and introduction to basic transesophageal ECHO management. Our aim is to provide new information and skills that will impact and improve safety and quality in the pediatric operating room and the intensive care unit. Approved for AMA PRA category 1 credits and the course is approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
