{"id":10461,"date":"2026-07-21T11:19:34","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T09:19:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.euroespa.com\/?p=10461"},"modified":"2026-07-21T11:19:56","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T09:19:56","slug":"2027-iars-international-outreach-travel-grant-and-informational-webinar-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.euroespa.com\/2027-iars-international-outreach-travel-grant-and-informational-webinar-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"2027 IARS International Outreach Travel Grant and Informational Webinar Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On behalf of the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS), we are pleased to share that applications for the <strong>2027 International Outreach Travel Grant<\/strong> are now open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grant supports researchers based in low-, lower-middle-, and upper-middle-income countries who wish to attend and present their research at the <strong>2027 Annual Meeting, presented by IARS and SOCCA<\/strong>, taking place from <strong>30 April to 2 May 2027 in Chicago, Illinois, USA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected recipients will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"block-list\">\n<li>Funding of <strong>USD 1,000\u20135,000<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complimentary registration for the Annual Meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valuable international exposure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networking and mentorship opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities to strengthen collaboration across regions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible researchers are encouraged to apply for the travel grant and submit an abstract for the 2027 Annual Meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The application deadline is <strong>Wednesday, 12 August 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below you will find important information about the travel grant, including details on an upcoming informational webinar on July 23, eligibility, application requirements, and benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>International Outreach Travel Grant Guidance Webinar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thursday, July 23, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1:30 pm&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;2:30 pm&nbsp;ET<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/0iLyYpumRZKKY_05S0IEkA#\/registration\"><strong>Register for the Informational Webinar Today <\/strong><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite you to attend this free, live webinar which will provide guidance on how to develop a&nbsp;stronger application and improve applicants\u2019 chances of success. Led by the Chair of the IARS International Outreach Travel Grant Review Study Section, this session will offer practical guidance on developing a&nbsp;compelling abstract, crafting a&nbsp;competitive application, and understanding what reviewers look for in successful submissions. The webinar will conclude with a&nbsp;live Q&amp;A, providing an opportunity to ask questions directly to the Review Study Chair and hear from past travel grant recipients before the application deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>International Outreach Travel Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travel support | $1,000\u2013$5,000 USD and complimentary meeting registration | Open to applicants from low-, lower-middle (LMIC), and upper-middle-income countries (UMIC)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Share your research at the 2027 Annual Meeting, presented by IARS and SOCCA, and apply for a&nbsp;travel grant to attend in person, April 30&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;May 2, 2027, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"block-list\">\n<li>Eligibility: Early- to mid-career investigators, in-training researchers from low-, lower-middle- and upper-middle-income countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requirements:\n<ul class=\"block-list\">\n<li>Must apply for the travel grant via ProposalCentral<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must submit an abstract to the 2027 Annual Meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be an IARS member (<a href=\"https:\/\/iars.org\/membership\/\">discounted membership options available for members in LMICs and UMICs<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must currently reside in a&nbsp;LMIC or UMIC country and be conducting the application research in that country as well (<a href=\"https:\/\/iars.org\/lmics\/\">view eligible countries<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May only submit one travel grant application.
