We would like to inform our members and partners of a fraudulent phishing email currently circulating, in which someone is falsely claiming to be ESPA President Michael Brackhahn and attempting to solicit money.
The emails may come from addresses such as:
📧 presidentfranboardcommittee@gmail.com
And include misleading messages like:
“Are you available to assist the board with something today? If so, please let me know, and I’ll provide more details.”
“Would it be possible for you to process a wire transfer or make an online bank transfer to a vendor on behalf of the board and receive reimbursement later?”
🚫 Please Be Advised:
🔒 ESPA will never request wire transfers, payments, or financial information via email.
📧 Always verify the sender’s email. Official ESPA communication comes from addresses ending in @euroespa.com
If You Receive a Suspicious Message:
✅ Do not respond
✅ Do not click on any links or attachments
✅ Do not provide any personal or financial information
✅ Report the email as phishing and forward it to info@euroespa.com
